Mountain Grass Unit West Hollywood Concert reviews
Kacey Musgraves at AT&T Center
This was a concert with a rodeo combo after words. Everyone around us were video taping the entire event. The Mountain Grass Unit was great, but the sound was very boomy and the bass lacked any definition at all. I am a professional media photographer and bring my camera to every stadium I have ever gone to without hassle. Once we got in, we ordered a regular margarita in a souvenir cup, but the person couldn't figure out the cash register. Making us miss the national anthem. The person put in a souvenir cup then couldn't figure out the cash register. The manager couldn't figure it out either and had to shut it off and restart it. It is about time AT&T center gets with the times and realizes cell phones and point shoot cameras have the ability to zoom in just as much as a camera with an attachable lens. They were two seats to the right, which was a big deal. The seats we got were behind people. I chose the top row so that we could have the seats at the top of stairways so nobody could sit in front of us, if I wanted that I would have chosen seats 25 rows closer to the center. But, I got turned away at the AT&T center, but all other cameras were allowed in. I don't put the big lens on it, and the set-up isn't much larger than a camera without attachable lenses. I can see the problem if I brought a 400 or 600 mm lens that protruded way out, but my lens was no more than 4.5 inches long. Overall, I would have much rather have listened to her CD at home compared to this experience.
